“A kaleidoscope is a device that when rotated moves the materials inside and results in an ever-changing pattern.”   Just like the kaleidoscope, with each twist and turn  in my life I have learned to look at education in a whole new way, but my core values  remain the same.

I grew up in a small town, then taught school in Berlin, Germany, lived in various locations in the United States, taught preschool in Korea, then left the classroom to raise four sons.  Since returning, I have taught fourth grade for 20+ years in a public school.

In spite of all this turning and rotating, my core beliefs haven’t changed.
